1500 is an icon of American ingenuity, but even icons have their faults. As
we saw during development of our 2009–2018 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L V8 baffled
oil catch can kit, the 5.7L Hemi produces a huge amount of blow-by. That
blow-by contains oil, fuel, and water vapors that coat your engine’s intake
components and degrade the quality of the fuel it burns. Over time, the
effects of blow-by can grow to the point of causing misfires and destroying

Our direct-fit baffled oil catch can kit redirects blow-by away from your
intake and into our catch can where harmful oil, fuel, and water vapors are
filtered out. Inside our catch can a set of air turbulators help disrupt
and slow incoming crankcase gases. Then, a perforated baffle acts as a
condensing point for vapors and prevents any liquid from exiting the can.
Before the crankcase gases are returned to the intake, our 50-micron
sintered bronze filter removes any remaining particles to ensure that only
clean air returns to your intake. All of this helps your engine run longer,
cleaner, and more efficiently.
Like our other direct-fit oil catch can kits,
installation of our 2019+ Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L catch can requires no cutting
or drilling and fits with your stock engine bay components. Simply attach
the can to the supplied direct-fit bracket, bolt it to the truck and route
the direct-fit lines to the stock PCV system. Installation takes less than
